Shampoo for a good date

October 11, 2009 at 8:29 by Mark Comments

Luli Fernandez is one of the most beautiful stars in argentinean television and now she’s also starring on this website called “Sin pelo no es lo mismo” (“without hair it isn’t the same) done by BBDO Argentina for Head and Shoulders shampoo (emphazising the hair protection factor), where you have to pick the right lines to get a date with her.
Nicely done and making a good use of 3D sound, what a pity it’s only in spanish, would be nice if there was an english version or at least some subtitles to get its audience bigger.

  1. It’s really a shame that 2 of the 3 guys you can use to flirt with Luli are sucking big time. They took one guy from the street and told him to pretend to be a Spaniard and a cordobes (people from the Argentinian city of Cordoba).
The “cordobes” uses word that they never heard or used before, I think BBDO would need to invest a little bit more on research and casting the next time.
It’s a good campaign, but those two points are making some people to start hating the brand because of the bad implementation of BBDO Argentina.
I’m sure the campaign is doing it well on Buenos Aires (the main city of Argentina) but in the rest of the country isn’t .

    Hi Martin
Thanx for your feedback. So far, we can say the campaign is doing very well all throughout the whole country. Fortunately, numbers and analytics trackings are on the brand side.
Give the rest of the market a break and do not act like a fake guru or self-proclaimed critic, and let people work for brands with their best possible effort.
We will glad to see you sharing your work for any kind of brand with the rest of the world anytime, also.

  4. Seba, I’m not acting as a fake guru :) I just gave my opinion as somebody who lives in Cordoba, and just remarked those two points, the rest is great. And you have to start trying to accept the critics from the people outside your company, in a constructive way.

This was done virtually by someone two or 4 or 5 years ago.
