Tug of Store

April 13, 2012 at 12:34 by Tim Comments

An awesome experiment is storming through the Twittersphere. Tug of Store lets users decide in real time whether a product is cool or crap. See the thumbs flitter across the screen as you and your peers vote them up or down.

Fed by the API of curating shop svpply the site crowns the coolest and crappiest shops. Of course you can put the judging aside and click through and purchase an item. Go enter the Tug of Store here.

I think the crude interface makes it extra charming. As Nik Roope from Poke wrote: “E-commerce has taken a refreshing turn for the distinctly mental. Love it.”
Expect this sort of e-commerce fun to pop up in other online shops soon.
