Southern Comfort was one of my favorite commercials of 2012. Now the dude with the brown speedo is back with his own website (also on mobile) to help you figuring out the weather around the world. Tilt-shift weirdness. Uniqlo have a new weather calendar site the tells you the weather where you are in tilt-shift miniature. Kinda weird and kinda cool. Uniqlo have created an app in conjunction with Japanese composer Cornelius that creates a unique way to wake up in the morning. The app automatically creates a song that contains current time, weather and day of the week. Users can choose to share a record of the time, weather and temperature at the exact moment the alarm was stopped via social media. Read more…
In winter Norway is freezing, and the weather makes it impossible to use iPad outdoors, as you cannot make the touchscreen work with gloves. In such situation, SMFB came up with a brilliant idea to launch and seed IKEA’s new catalog for iPad. The agency created and distributed a special sewing kit, called “Beröra” (which means “to touch”) that in pure IKEA style enabled Norwegians to customize their mittens and make them iPad-friendly.
