Alitalia presents web-only promotion

Alitalia has revamped its web site and is promoting it with a series of web-only fares. As Brand Republic explains, the site has been designed by Ehs Brann and there will also be some banner advertising promoting the offer.

The curious (or sad?) thing is that I'm not aware of any similar online promotion by Alitalia in Italy (not even in the past).

Comments on this entry

I was indeed impressed with the new (UK) Alitalia site, until I proceeded to the booking and I was disappointed because I could not book unless I was going to bring with me the Credit card used for the booking as a form of ID! (but it was the comapny Credit card so I could not take it with me!).
I am a frequent flier and I have to say so far BMI and Ryanair are the best online booking service.
Still, well done Alitalia for the effort in the RIGHT direction.

I must have read something lately on Alitalia's new Italian website by IconMediaLab... and they are also running a web advertising campaign through Italian main portals and branded websites :)

Thank you Laura,
I happened to find an Alitalia banner today on Virgilio. I'll review the post.
