One of the first things that "mobile marketers" need to remember is that potential customers will accept the idea of "pulling" information needed to make a purchase decision -- not having brand awareness "pushed" to their mobile units.
In other words, the brand awareness and education about the product category need to be done prior to a customer picking up their mobile unit. That way, information gathering (the third step in the five-step process of making a purchase) will seem natural -- and welcomed -- by customers.
