Data Visualisation. Which language do you browse?

Google Chrome’s translate feature allowed cartographer Eric Fisher to read the language used by the browser. Combining this information with Twitter’s API he created a beautiful global map of languages, emulating countries’ shapes, while at the same time showing how they fuse together at their borders.

8 Hours in Brooklyn

Jonathan Bregel was lucky enough to get his hands on the high-speed camera Phantom Flex for the weekend and documented 8 hours in Brooklyn – with zero pre-production and only a small crew. Add nice grading and a massive sound track by Skream and you got yourself a kick ass super slo-mo neighbourhood documentary (if such a thing exists). Read more…
