McCann Digital has used Facebook’s new timeline in an interesting way. For Israel’s Anti-Drug Authority they told the story of fictional character Adam Barak’s two lives: one getting addicted to drugs, one staying clean. Skin cancer is growing worldwide. And it is just one of those things people don’t talk about. Because you feel the sun cannot really hurt you. Unfortunately this is terribly wrong. And having a friend who survived this disease I’m super willing to support any campaign that helps raising awareness on this menace we are all exposed to. This outdoor campaign made in Spain is fantastic. The idea is super. And it delivers the message in such a strong and experiential way that it cannot get unnoticed.

Byturen is a great campaign from the Nordics that shows, in an entertaining yet confronting way, how different you act when you are drunk. A double layered video (that activates on mouseover) is used to get the comparison as close as possible.
Remember the peer pressure at school to wear the right clothes, be seen with the right people and that it was cool to smoke? Students at the The Miami Ad School have created a mobile app to challenge that negative peer pressure and instead turn it around and use it to encourage smokers to quit.
