This is a great idea. StickNFind is an ultra small sticker with bluetooth, that you can stick on any device, person or animal, and find them with your Smart Phone (Apple iOS & Android). ChocoTweets for Santa

“Sweet” campaign made in Holland where chocolate brand Jamin is welcoming the arrival of Sinterklaas with a Twitter-based contest. If you’re not familiar with the Dutch tradition, you gotta know that Sinterklaas (the local version of Santa Claus) arrives every year on December 5th, distributing chocolate letters and candies to all the children (and not only) who behaved and wrote him a short poem. So this time Jamin is encouraging young and old to tweet their poems and transform them in 140 virtual chocoletters. Read more…

Neil Papworth is the engineer who sent the world’s very first SMS/text to a mobile phone. On Dec 3 1992, Neil sent a text to Vodafone executive Richard Jarvis, saying ‘Merry Christmas’. Little did they know they were setting the foundation for a 20-year long habit enthralling billions of teenagers (and unnerving their parents). Agency THEY in The Netherlands celebrates the anniversary through an interview with Neil Papworth … naturally conducted via SMS/text.

Metro: Dumb ways to die

Trains are dangerous things. And if you’re not careful around them, you could end up dying in the dumbest way possible. That’s the message behind a new ad campaign for Melbourne, Australia’s Metro Trains. They’ve tapped a local artist to record a catchy little tune and set it too the cutest little death animations you’ll ever see. This is pretty mind blowing. Google Chrome’s new experiment conquers the galaxy. 100,00 Stars is an interactive visualization of the stellar neighborhood created for the Google Chrome web browser. It includes real location data of over 100,000 nearby stars, including 87 major named stars and our solar system.
