Bravia Bunnies

Sony Bravia has launched their latest TVC called Play-Do which is a massive undertaking using a mountain of Play-Doh and stop animation. I really like it and think that it’s a clever campaign addition to Balls and Paint. Fallon were the creative agency.

The artist couple Dan and Kozy Kitchens claim the Sony bunnies are a shameless copy of their work. Check their story at Kozyndan. What was Fallon thinking? Better well stolen than badly invented?

    Hi¡¡¡
Everybody is talking about the same ad… Really, good work Sony, But i think, that so much Teasing for the final Ad… They have showed almost all just in teasing phase… so TV spot doesn´t ad no too much more…

To all the ppl who think they copied.. it can be a form of subliminal thought. The company saw that pic, disregarded it then some time later that idea came to their heads as if it was their own.

Adam, does that make it right? No, not at all. It is still unethical and illegal.

  5. Nope says:

It’s called inspiration, not “”ripping-off”. Sorry, you have to do something more creative than play-doh bunnies to deserve any credit for being “copied”.
