HTC One Ask The Internet

Is this clever or a TV commercial admitting defeat? HTC One pays huge actor Gary Oldman to say that it doesn’t matter what he says about the phone - you would rather ask the internet anyway. BUT you’re paying attention because it’s Gary Oldman for chrissakes saying it, right? Pretty post-modern logic I’d say.

Unfortunately the website doesn’t seem integrated and doesn’t pick up on Gary’s challenge. Possibly they maxed out their budget for the film appearance alone. Seems like a missed opportunity to further mess with our brains. Like, seeing Gary still waiting for me to google reviews.
