Text and win with Colin Firth

Enpocket and cdp-travissully have produced a text-to-win campaign for the Netherlands Board of Tourism through 135 Caffe Nero outlets capitalise on the interest around the 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' which stars Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson. More than 300,000 postcards have been distributed through the cafs and broadsheets, offering an instant 'text to win' for tickets to the film and entry in a draw for a 3-night break to The Hague to see the real 'Girl with a Pearl Earring''.
Jeremy Wright, co-founder of Enpocket, said:

"This campaign demonstrates the simple fact that the use of text as a response mechanism is as relevant when targeting older, higher-end audiences as it is with younger mass-market audiences. As the most recent Mobile Media Monitor (October 2003) from Enpocket Insight showed, more than 9 out of 10 mobile owners 25-44 are now active text users."

I have just recently "discovered" Mr. Firth. I must say I am surprised at his versatility and range and evolution as an actor. While I haven't seen but a few of his performances, I am looking forward to experincing his numerous projects. I see an artist who has ( if he has not already reached) the possibility of becoming one of the greater talents in this medium. As one who has only read many of these works he has been cast in, I am looking forward to seeing what he brings to these characters I have come to call my friends. As a writer and lover of the written words, I know it is hard to let go of our "babies" and allow another to bring them to life.
As a fellow Virgo I'm (9-11-59) I could'nt help to take psuedo pride(tongue in cheek)in knowing we(Virgos) are the truly creative souls!

With all that said, I am quite pleased to know there is a Mr. Colin Firth doing a splendid job with his craft and art and giving back to all who get to know his work.
Thank you so very much for this forum to say just that.

I must say that I really liked Colin Firth in What A Girl Wants, even at 35 years old. However, when I looked at a few websites about him, I was suprised at what an arrogant man he is. It read that he thinks he is better because he is from Britian and that all Americans are stupid.
I must say that I was disgusted and no longer am interested in him as an actor.
