Ireland Tourism and the Taxi Challenge

If you're dreaming a vacation to the Emerald Isle, you might be attracted by the competition the Ireland Tourism board has just launched. reports McCann Online is the agency that created the site (with a viral touch!) and the ads supporting the Taxi Challenge which will allow a lucky winner to grab up to £10.000 and, of course, an all-expenses-paid 10-day trip around Ireland in a luxury taxi.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it's stupid that they're offering pounds instead of euro? Anytime I see a competition to the States or Britain I see spending money advertised as dollars or sterling.
