Toshiba and the manga advergame

If you are a fan of Japanese cartoons you can't miss this advergame launched in Japan by Toshiba. I have no idea of the products it aims to promote, but it's fun to play and, most of all, is fun to watch & listen to. With all the animations and sound effects that accompain the gameplay, you really feel like you are watching a cartoon.

The anime characters in the game are inspired to the Yatterman series that was broadcasted in Japan back in the Seventies.

Hi Martina, thanks for your post.

I really like the Japanese animation and when I read your post I went immediately on the web site of Toshiba to see this advergame.

You wrote that you do not have any idea of the products that this promotes advergame.

Well, I will try to give you a hand.
If you remember the series of Yattaman in every episode Yattaman use small robots, that came from Yatta Can, defeat for the Trio Drombo (Miss Dronio, Boyakki, Tonzula).

The Toshiba has replaced these small robots with their products.
The characters you see below are nothing more than Toshiba products transformed into cartoons

The characters you see on the left side of the screen near the robot from combat are precisely the various products of Toshiba.

If you click bottom left of the screen, the page selection of robots to defeat go to the page of description of the product.

The products are:
Televisions
Pc and Notebook
Pressure cooker (I think)
Cell Phones
Refrigerators
Air conditioners
