Audi Quattro Experience

on March 10, 2013 by Bridget Comments

Audi set out to demonstrate the legendary road hugging capabilities of the A4 through an interactive & socially enabled installation.  Passers-by could race one of 3 miniature Audis - controlling the car via iPad.  The craft skills are incredible and the idea is really nice.  However, I was disappointed when I saw some of the real race videos that were published.  It seems that the cars regularly wipe out on the corners which is a shame given the purpose of the installation.   Read more…

Audi’s Ultimate Paintball Challenge

on February 27, 2013 by Martina Comments

Safety might not be guaranteed, but this Audi’s idea looks like a lot of fun for sure. A paintball challenge were “players” chase each others driving the latest Audi RS 4 Avant with high performance paintball guns on the bonnets of each car. A great way to showcase the car’s driving performance as well as to engage Audi fans and make them say “I wish I was driving that!”. Read more…

The Audi truth

on August 27, 2008 by Martina Comments

In the United States, Audi is online since the beginning of the year with a project called Truth in Engineering, a virtual showcase of all its models with a strong luxury touch.

The latest mini-site of the series, has gone live recently, and is dedicated to the A4 model. Althought it is a very corporate (boring) site (if you aren’t specifically interested it in the car) I like it because of its autoplay system for navigation.

Audi: Performance from every part

on May 2, 2008 by Martina Comments

BBH and GT have recently released a mini-site for the new Audi RS 6. Even if you’re not much into cars (like me), you’ll better have a look, as the video experience is quite powerful.

I especially enjoyed the sound design and the interface, even I think it might result a bit confusing for the target audience of the car, who I believe might be not so Internet savy. But maybe it doesn’t matter, the experience is impressive so casual clicks around will work as well.

Audi, it’s your turn

on October 30, 2007 by Martina Comments

From Spain a very nice integrated campaign launched by Audi to support the new version of its A3 car. Below you can watch the TV spot created by DDB Barcelona, but if you visit the site you can also play the game that uses the same mechanism of the video (here the agency it’s Tribal DDB Barcelona). The concept reminds me of the great Nike Play Tag spot, but I like it anyway. It’s your turn, you can drive until you find an obstacle that stops you, therefore in the game you have to click in advance to remove all the pedestrians crossing, the truck stuck in the middle of the street etc.
