Wi-Fi advertising

Yesterday, my friend and co-worker Arturo and myself found out a couple of brilliant cases of integrated advertising, done respectively by German agencies Lukas Lindemann Rosinski and Jung Von Matt.

I think that both the image for the first case and the video for the second one are absolutely self-explanatory...

(Further explanation here, if you feel like to and here is a video of it)

The funny thing is through the comments section we found another case awarded at the last Epica Awards, really interesting too as it goes to a really common phenomena nowadays, the tension between cafe owners and wi-fi using guests. A few days after, Dylan, from the agency itself (They) sent me more information about this case. I uploaded three images that are really self-explanatory themselves of this another great case, though now i maybe this was the first to take place?

Well, dunno, it's really cool how some people discover untapped spaces to do advertising, big props, to all of them.

Reminds me of this student-created piece for The Discovery Channel show, "Most Evil".

Except much less sinister!

I love this idea. As an extension, coffee shops should give away free wireless, and then sell the wireless name as an ad buy to cover the cost. Win-win for all.

@cory, actually a coffee shop already does. A Dutch agency won an award for it last year

This is such a neat idea, people have no choice but to read the headline. I would hope though that the wireless is free. If people had to pay for the internet it probably wouldn't be as well received. I wonder if they place more than one ad that users see when they open the window.
