Explore John Peel’s Record Collection

A project entitled ‘The Space’ has just gone live and is an online archive of the late John Peel’s collection of almost 70,000 vinyl records. Peel’s time in pirate radio and as a DJ at the BBC saw him help launch the careers of many seminal bands.




The project, led by Peel’s widow, aims to produce 100 albums online each week running to 2500 albums from May to October 2012.
