Sub-Zero Cinema

In winter, life of homeless people becomes tougher than ever. It’s cold, terribly cold, and we can’t even imagine how it feels to live on the streets when the temperature goes below zero. Well, in Germany no-profit organization fiftyfifty has actually recreated that nasty experience transforming a warm and cozy movie theater in a freezing environment, just like the one thousands of homeless people experience everyday. A coin to stop the Seal Killers

Another very nice “offline interactive” idea made in Germany to raise awareness on the stupid and cruel seals killing happening around the world in countries like Canada, Russia and Norway just to name a few. Every year almost a million seals are killed for their pelts, their fat and their flesh. A huge number that gets even more awful if you think how cruelly the animals are killed (using a firearm!). Vocal browsing: more than a gimmick

A website that can be navigated only using your voice probably is not a totally new idea. What is new and smart is that someone actually used the gimmick to reinforce and deliver its business proposition. Your Music School is a school for vocal education in Hamburg. To generate more applicants for the school‘s vocal coaching courses they launched a website that could be navigated without a mouse but by using one‘s own voice. The eight menu items on the navigation are arranged on a scale. By singing the appropriate notes one can directly hit the desired menu item and discover in playful interactive way the services provided by the school. Read more…

Rapping Granma proves radio advertising still works

Who said radio advertising is dead? A German granma actually proved the opposite with this brilliant integrated campaign for AS&S Radio Sales & Services. Lukas Lindemann Rosinski launched a radio promotion to drive online traffic and generate Youtube visits as well as Facebook fans. A catchy tune and a rapping granma proved to media buyers that radio advertising is still very effective.

Vodafone’s Augmented Reality Buffer Busters

The Buffer Busters are the new Ghost Busters according to Vodafone. In Germany the telcom giant has launched an augmented reality mobile application that transforms your city in a videogame arena. Starting from the brief “Vodafone is the fastest mobile network in Germany” North Kingdom created a digital story revolving around so-called Buffer Monsters that represents everything slow in your everyday surroundings.
