Myspace - back from the dead?

The new myspace design has just been unveiled.  Take a look at the demo video below — those that like it can sign up for an invite at new.myspace.com.  I’ll be interested to see if the slick new interface can bring back new meaning to a platform that few believe in these days. 

Interestingly, sign up starts with either facebook or twitter.

There is a good article on VentureBeat that outlines the new vision and ambition as an “entertainment experience” with help from Panasonic and Justin Timberlake.
