Sorry, this one is one of us, but I have to talk about it as we've spent so much time working on this lately... :)
Last year, One Show asked us to develop the image for their Interactive competition in 2008.
As you may know, fighters have replaced Mariachis as the new mexican cliche and we tried to create a game with some mexican flavor, a bit nasty and that served as a place of reunion for designers, developers, creatives, art directors, etc. trying to have some fun and blood.

Adage today has an article in which it highlights the hottest digital agencies on the market. Interesting if you're thinking about running a pitch to give some fresh air to your brand online. But watch out, they listed only the "independent" agencies, so you won't get the whole picture, but just the its indie revisited version.

While Mark is looking for ground-breaking and usable agency websites, Shedwa points at this great example. At first glance you think the page cannot be found, but a second look learns you so much more. The connection to your consumer cannot be found. Read further and you'll see how simple and strong an agency message (and website) can be. Kudos for Westwayne!

EasyJet has shortlised five agencies to handle its pan-European account: Omnicom's AMV BBDO, Interpublic's Lowe, WPP's Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis' Saatchi & Saatchi.
AdAge reports Lowe's has awarded its $315 million advertising and media business to Omnicom Group's BBDO and OMD.

Bacardi Martini is looking for a single agency to run its its £90m Bacardi rum creative account on a global basis. BrandRepublic explains Fallon is currently handling the account in the UK, while David and Goliath manages it the US and McCann Erickson takes care of it in several international markets.

| Enpocket and Tequila, partners in mobile marketing |
Big advertising and direct marketing agencies are getting ready for the mobile challenge. Tequila, for example, has announced today it has joined forces with Enpocket to integrate mobile in its direct marketing activities. The alliance, which is thought to be the first of its kind in the industry, means that Enpocket's mobile marketing technology and experience in delivering campaigns
for over 400 brands since 2001, is accessible to TEQUILA\'s global network of 48 offices in 34 countries. Peter Larsen, CEO, Enpocket commented:
"We are delighted to be driving this step change in the industry by joining forces with one of the biggest global agency networks. For mobile marketing to succeed it needs to be integrated effectively with traditional customer acquisition and retention activities. Our relationship with TEQUILA\ means global brands can now take full advantage of the benefits mobile can deliver."

| Short marriage for KPN and FHV BBDO |
Media & Marketing Europe reports KPN Telecom, the Netherlands’ biggest advertiser, has fired its advertising agency FHV BBDO less than two months after the sudden departure of three of its four directors. The agency will continue working for KPN to manage its Hi mobile business.
