The ant and the grasshopper fable by Aesop gets rivisited by Nike. An unusual yet lovely way to tell the Nikefootball message. Being worth wearing Brazil's #9 shirt is not a fairy tale.
Great work by my friend Adam and his team. The agency is F/Nazca, while the production company is BigBonsai.
You've probably seen the Wii Warioland Shake it experience on YouTube. Vimeo, known as YouTube's high quality competitor, now takes these kind of site takeovers to a whole new level with the Honda Insight campaign. Below you see the commercial, but for the whole experience, you should visit Vimeo itself.
I'm a huge fan of James Jarvis toys. So I can't help loving the short animated video he created for Nike (yes, this is another reason why I like it :-)
Interesting to point out how limited the presence of the brand is. Just a tiny note at the end of the credits. No swoosh, no URLs, nothing. Great job
Jungstil is a german online secure shop and this is an intended-viral video that was released a few days ago.
I loved it because this is such a truthful insight, i've seen something like this several times (except for the mutilation, i didn't stay so long -LOL-)
(As a forewarning I have to make it clear this is a campaign I've been working on with my agency Mindshare Paris)
Nike is currently running a campaign for Nike Sportswear called V is for Victory, to promote their Track Jacket. Nike France produced two nice viral videos, which, as you will see, are typically French !
Here is the very last one released today, where you can see Hatem Ben Arfa, top class football player at Olympique de Marseille, playing petanque (I told you it was very French !) his own way as he scores an amazing point :
Barack Obama's campaign was so huge and had so many actions that even two months after the election day passed i'm still finding out about curious things that were done. This is from the day i forgot going to vote and the whole country outraged at me, LOL.
Originally in portuguese and done by DDB, i found simple and fantastic the fact behind the claim "Toda imagem tem un son" ("every image has a sound") of this campaign for Saxso Funny, a sound-producing company in Brazil:
Lactacyd makes products for intimate care and I don't know for sure but I think that this video should be going viral in the next few days:
The final copy reads: "Your vagina is vulnerable, Lactacyd helps protect" (as i translated from Google Translate, but if you speak Dutch and it doesn't say that please let me know to update!)
Last October, Intel Brazil created probably one of the the most original screensavers ever, take this video as an example of what is it about:
Then, you were sent to this site where you had available making one of your own for your office. Although the site doesn't seem to be available anymore (or at least i can't access) i found some buzz about this searching at Technorati or Gizmodo.
Last summer my friends Pit and Efrain sent me a link describing a strange experiment from the group Pop Levi using videos from YouTube for their single "Semi Babe".
You had to open both videos (each one of them featuring members of the group, one playing keyboards, the other one playing guitar and singing) in different browser windows and then resizing these to make both videos appear as one.
A successful viral video by Nokia to promote its N96 ... in China,
and which has already crossed many borders.
If you are lucky, have a good bandwith, or live in China, you might get access to the dedicated website.
Apparently this limited edition of the N96 is a $1,300 handset for fans, if you consider it offers no exclusive technology or application, but has lots of embedded materials of the Little Dragon, like rare pictures. Not to mention the packaging :
I am usually not keen on brands raising icons from the dead to promote their last product (like Converse and Ian Curtis, Grrr ... nice brand, cool campaign, but still ...), but I must admit this video rocks !
Why ? I didn't get the point of ping pong yet, but I like it !
Q: What to do when some of your fans work in an office with a firewall that doesn't allow them to visit contents hosted at YouTube so you can't make your new work available to any of them?
A: You can create your video in an Excel spreadsheet so it can be sent via email, as AC/DC did a couple of weeks ago (make sure that you have macros enabled)
