Cards of change

May 8, 2009 at 3:54 by Mark Comments

An inspiring little project in this time of worldwide recession. Cards of Change is a collection of business cards from people who got recently ditched at their company, but bring out the positive side in a personal message on their card. The project is set up by some former TBWAChiatDay employees, united in Unknownlab.

What a beautiful way for these people to express themselves in these tough times. So often we feel like we live and breathe by our title. By breaking out of their mold – “re-labelling” themselves so to speak – they have been able to redefine themselves, prioritizing to them what is most important to them.
Ironically, it looks like most of the contributors have worked in marketing or advertising. For those who had to help with their clients’ branding, I wonder how difficult it was to re-brand themselves?
