Lee China: live creatively

May 6, 2011 at 7:11 by Martina comments

I bet we all, both on the brand and on the agency side, have eyes on China. There isn’t much cool (yet!) coming from there in terms of advertising or digital creativity but I’m sure we won’t have to wait for long. For example, this is a good start: the Live Creatively campaign created by Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai for Lee that aims at bringing a touch of Brooklyn to the Chinese consumers.

Like the Converse campaign we posted a few weeks ago, Lee also decides to connect with its target audience with a music video. The outcome is very nice, and the website that supports the campaign is also worth a few clicks around to explore the interface that mixes cartoons and photos.

The campaign claim is not super original (Live creatively) but maybe we are quite used to “imitation” coming from China so we don’t really mind :)
