Outdoor media becomes a shoe store
Similar to Tesco’s virtual store experience, German shoe retailer Goertz has turned outdoor media into retail space. What’s interesting this time is that the experience is getting more personal & more social.
An installation using 3 Kinect sensors means people can virtually try on any shoe from the Goertz catalogue.
Social sharing is built into the experience via facebook. A QR code is generated linking users to the mobile commerce site with the shoe, size and colour – ready for purchase and next day home delivery.
The agency is Kempertrautmann who also created the the Edding Wall of Fame (below) that did so well at Cannes last year.
