How do you talk to a digital audience about something quite technical and geeky? Hootsuite have pulled off a very good example of how to be timely and relevant by appropriating the opening sequence of Game of Thrones to promote their social enterprise solution.
Timely because yesterday was the premiere of the fourth season of HBO hit series Game Of Thrones. Relevant because the hit show has the record for “most socially engaged TV episoide in the US” meaning that the audience is already highly receptive to topical content around the show.
The show’s iconic opening sequence replaced competing dynasties with the big four social media empires. Hootsuite’s product sits at the centre to connect them all.
