While Martina is enjoying here spring break, I’m going to do a little experiment here on Adverblog. I would like to invite you to review the latest Heineken campaign: secretfinal.com. The campaign is part of Heineken’s UEFA Champions League sponsorship. Visitors of the website are invited to engage and ‘launch’ themselves all around the world, in order to win a trip to a secret location, where they can watch the Champions League final. Please leave your opinion in the comments. Thanks!

Honestly….looks boring and done to death

  2. Desiree says:

They spelled January wrong in the drop down menu of months you were born in.

  3. Angela says:

Well, being a young person who drinks a lot of beer myself i think i can speak for the targeted group..
It’s a funny campaign, for a minute of 5..after that you erase it from your memory. I don’t think this will help them sell more beer and they already have a known name, so, Why??

  4. Richard FitzGerald says:

It held my attention long enough for me to enter the competition, however the cannon ball thing was pretty lame.
Site designed well and and good use advertising the beer cooler.
Left with a sense of a waste of time.

If you want to get people involved from around the world, you’ll have to have more countries. E.g. all European countries.
I liked the possibility to put your own face but lost the interest when my country wasn’t on the list.
If it’s global, really make it global!

  6. Anna says:

Really lame. where is the challenge?? I was left with a sense of total unsatisfaction after having been given some false expectations. All the fuss about creating your human cannonball, choosing a world destination and so on and then all you get is a short video of your avatar fired through space and a final destination image made up by an elementary school’s children style cut & paste of the two initial pictures. really depressing.

  7. michi says:

yeah, more countries, it didn’t have my country in the list, which is the Philippines…couldn’t even get past that part…

  8. Naam says:

Erm probably a stupid user error… but I cannot get past the select a location screen. Once I want to launch myself I have no idea where I’m supposed to click.

  9. Joe Szabo says:

Very lame. They could have placed the data capture portion after the launch….

  10. James Gregson says:

The site just takes so long to load… Pretty positive it is not my computer. Regardless I would love to win so I am going to enter
