UNICEF and Dulux own a colour

If tweeting vulgarities for a good cause isn’t your thing (see CharitySwearBox below), then this will surely tickle your charitable fancy. UNICEF and Dulux have teamed up to sell you one of the 16.7 million colours smartphones, tablets or monitors are able to display. At £1 a pop it is a steal. And best of all, you can give your colour a unique name. Keep it above the belt though, please.

Own a colour makes clever use of an existing entity, the colour range of our web world. Not surprisingly many donors dedicate the chosen colour to their own child.

“Own a Colour” reminds me a bit of the Million Dollar homepage - obviously with a much nobler thought than making the site owner rich. Dulux continues their good work under their banner of “Let’s Colour“, making the world a more colourful place. Here is Sir Roger Moore adressing all potential buyers:
