Heineken, the barrel and the comic strip

In Spain Heineken has launched a new campaign to promote its 5 liters beer barrel mixing music and comics. The TV spot very nice as it proposes different camera angles and text baloons like a comic book while playing a song by Adele. The agency is Remo.

Ngage: Get out & play

From Sweden, the latest Nokia campaign created by Far Far and HobbyFilms. Think about playing "Snake" in the real world...

It's nice, but reminds me a lot of the great Nike "tag" commercial...

Sony Foam City

Agency Fallon London once again managed to create a lot of buzz around an upcoming Sony commercial. This time they used foam in the streets of Miami to create an unreal scene. The commercial is for Sony's digital camera's. The commercial is out there now and will be aired worldwide.

The New Balance of Running

This is the second ad about running I post in two days. I guess this means two things: either I work in the industry, or I need to start practicing to get in a good shape. Or maybe it means both?

Anyway, I'd like to share with you this nice work by BBDO New York together with The Mill (post-production) and Squeak E. Clean (music).

Damn Fuc**ing Tasty

In Holland, New York Pizza launched a series of commercials to promote their quality pizza's. Responsible agency Selmore came up with some fun spoofs on Italian Mafia movies like Scarface. Great timewasters on this lazy friday.

Play With The City

Following the successful and multi award winning Nissan Qashqai 'skateboard' commercial, the car manufacturer just released the sequel. In this new ad the city literally comes to live with urban titans testing the Urban Proof statement. Pretty cool, if you ask me. There are also a making off and some interviews available. Agency is TBWA\London.

The NBA "navigates" through the life of Steve Nash

A GPS system becomes a tool for for storytelling, to "navigate" through the life of a great basketball player, Steve Nash. Definitely an amazing commercial for the NBA (where amazing happens).

The agency is Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the animation production company is Lifelong Friendship Society, New York.

Onitsuka Electric Tiger Land

Strawberry Frog is back with a new lovely work for Onitsuka Tiger. It's the Electric Tiger Land, a Japanese metropolis in the heart of a sneaker.

Bloody Omaha

Even if this is not a TV ad, I'm sure that you will enjoy it. It's the making-of montage of the Omaha Beach invasion of World War II re-created for a BBC Timewatch documentary. Even if you have a low budget, if you have great skills and creativity, the sky is the limit!

The commercial made of "recycled" film clips

If you're committed to save energy and support recycling, you shall start building your green credentials by recycling film clips to create your own commercial...

In the UK, power supplier EDF Energy is launching today the TV ad above, created by Euro RSCG, that uses "recycled" film clips including the Wombles, Thunderbirds and John F Kennedy. The soundtrack is an adapted version of Sesame Street song "It's Not Easy Being Green".
