Go green with Virgin Trains

on October 3, 2007 by Martina Comments

Glue London has just launched a new integrated campaign for Virgin Trains with the claim “go greener, go cheaper“. Virgin: The return of the train (and of Cary Grant)

on July 4, 2005 by Martina Comments

Virgin Trains has launched a new advertising campaign to explain the changes they have brought to revolutionize train travel in the UK. The Tv spot is very nice but not extremely original, with Cary Grant, Jack Lemmon and other actors of the past traveling on Virgin Trains. A few months ago we saw Gene Kelly dancing in the rain with the new Golf (click here to watch the ad), so the work performed by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R cannot be defined as outstanding, but it surely deserves high votes, also because of the excellent sound design. The tv spot can be watched on Virgin’s site. Internet advertising is also part of the effort, with ads appearing, among the others, on Lastminute.com.
