Bjork’s Biophilia App Album

Once again Björk offers a great unique experience.

For the release of her new album Biophilia, the full biophilia app suite is also out now for ipad, iphone and ipod touch.

The biophilia mother app is free and available in the app store, ten other separate apps can be bought from inside the mother app. Each of the smaller apps will relate to a different track from the album, allowing people to explore and interact with the song’s themes or even make a completely new version of them. For each app, there are ten levels to discover.

Every app includes a game related to the song, the score of the song created by Björk and Jónas Sen, animations and a musical essay written by Nikki Dibben.

As usual Björk managed to select the right people to work on her project. She chose top developers like Scott Snibbe as the architect, Luc Barthelet, Theo Gray, Touch Press, Max Weisel, Sarah Flannery , Drew Berry, Stephen Malinowski.
