Wrangler drag & release
Wrangler did it again. The new website to showcase the Spring/Summer collection doesn’t disappoint nor gets boring. Like in a movie sequel it’s not easy to repeat success in the digital age, especially when it comes to a website experience. Interactivity is pretty minimal but the drag & release trick proves pretty fun to trigger the storytelling.
I know, I know, you might argue why should a brand still spend money on making an interactive website. Well, for the same reason they still spend it on TV advertising… It’s for healthy branding reasons but also, simply, to show the product in a cool way. Campaign websites & mini-sites might be on their way to extinction, but for most of brands (and digital agencies) there is still life beyond social media.
