Pizza Hut iPhone App

It really took so long having an app to configure and order your pizza from a mobile phone, which is kind of weird because in the US you even can order a pizza from TiVo. But last week, Pizza Hut launched this fantastic app developed by IMC2 in which you can also play games while you wait for the pizza to arrive:

As a suggestion, wouldn't be funny (and useful) that we could track where the pizza is through one of these maps applications too?

(thx Heber!)

Makes me want an iPhone so I don't have to take the subway to get my pizza.

Even better if you could choose the bloke/lady to make your pizza or a camera to make sure no one is spitting or dropping any hairs in your pizza.

Funny interactive iPhone idea. Slogan must be "Wash hands before order" :)

It was just announced that this iPhone app has generated over $1 million in revenue in the last 3 months.

Nice to see companies creating fun and innovative applications with utility - it's obviously paying off!

Mobile will be HUGE in 2010 and beyond (especially with Andriod) - so is definitely a space that most companies targeting 18-34 year old men and women should be looking into, if they're not already.

(I posted more on this app as well as a Nielsen chart of 2009 mobile demographics here: http://bit.ly/Ao221)

Cheers,
Jackie
