on May 15, 2014 by Nikolaj Comments

To mark the end of the Premier League in the UK season we, at Carlsberg, created a movie about the emptiness that fans feel when it’s over. Read more…

Carlsberg: Football has the power to unite

on May 1, 2014 by Nikolaj Comments

This is a bold campaign and a beautiful thought from Carlsberg and Duval Guillaume. I love it but then again I’m not impartial since I work at Carlsberg, but what do you think?

on March 28, 2014 by Nikolaj Comments

Danish travel agency Spies are back with yet another clever take on the positive side-effects of traveling. Last time they sent two Solar Charging Dummies on holiday – one in Denmark and one in Spain to prove that the latter would be more (sexually) charged after a week in the sun. Read more…

on December 17, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

This is a project that I was involved in and I would love to hear your feedback. When we created the concept for this prankvertising for a Danish supermarket, we set out to play with the question: Does Santa exist? Well, of course he does. But what role should he play? Coolest Safety Instruction Ever

on October 29, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

What a great move from Virgin America. Yes, it’s been done before by Air New Zealand, but even so, this execution is so good that they managed to hold my attention for the full five minutes. It delivers all the details of passenger flight safety and at the same time does such a good job at making themselves truly likable.

Mind blowing projection mapping

on September 26, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

Box is a project that features projection mapping on a moving object beautifully choreographed and performed live. A fusion of technology, Optical Art, and a choreographed stage performance, the complexity of this video is truly incredible. While we’ve all seen projection mapping before this one takes it to a whole new level and it makes me want to use it for my next project even though it’s for dog food (No, really). Read more…

Sampling at it’s best – yawn-activated coffee machine

on July 29, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

Admitted, I’m 100% addicted to coffee. Maybe that is why I absolutely love this sampling idea from Douwe Egberts. They set up a coffee vending equipped with facial recognition technology that’ll detect people yawning and serve free coffee as a response. They placed it an airport where lots of people are super tired – it makes so much sense. This would turn me into a loyal customer on the spot.

Experimental branding: Giving freshness a sound

on June 18, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

This is a project that I was involved in and I would love to hear your feedback. It’s a collaboration between electronic music producer j.viewz and Irma.dk. It’s for the online shop of Irma, a high quality chain of grocery stores in Denmark. It’s been around for 127 years (making it the second oldest in the world), and is an institution here in Denmark that has always represented high standards. Read more…

Leveraging social media to save the lives of human rights defenders

on May 13, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

This is a super clever way to use the potential power of social media for something good. Something truly good. I hope the Natalia Project gains worldwide recognition and wins a Nobel Prize. The objective of the Natalia Project is to provide human rights defenders at risk with a personal assault alarm in the shape of a heavy-duty wristband.  It allows the bearer to send out a distress signal in case he or she gets into trouble. That signal triggers a series of events that all aim to alert key contacts and as many people as possible though Facebook and Twitter.
