Mind blowing projection mapping

on September 26, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

Box is a project that features projection mapping on a moving object beautifully choreographed and performed live. A fusion of technology, Optical Art, and a choreographed stage performance, the complexity of this video is truly incredible. While we’ve all seen projection mapping before this one takes it to a whole new level and it makes me want to use it for my next project even though it’s for dog food (No, really). Read more…

Sampling at it’s best - yawn-activated coffee machine

on July 29, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

Admitted, I’m 100% addicted to coffee. Maybe that is why I absolutely love this sampling idea from Douwe Egberts. That signal triggers a series of events that all aim to alert key contacts and as many people as possible though Facebook and Twitter.

Skrillex and G-STAR in an excellent Brand & Band collaboration

on March 21, 2013 by Nikolaj Comments

Brand and Band collaborations are tricky because one of the two will suffer if the balance tips to either side. This is a beautiful example of how it’s done. A ridiculously awesome track and sound design to accompany the stunning visuals of a pair of jeans being made from scratch. Thanks to J.Viewz for bringing this to my attention. Please turn your speakers up! Read more…
