Site Targeting debuts on AdWords

Inside AdWords announced yesterday Google has eventually launched a new Adwords feature that allows the targeting of ads by site. It will be now possible to: - target sites and not just keywords - animated image ads are available within site-targeted campaigns - site-targeted campaigns allow advertisers to bid for a placement on a CPM basis Learn more here.

Yahoo! the Life Engine

Marketers listen up: Yahoo! targets specific online audiences like no other does (or, at least, this is what they say). Medipost says a new print and online campaign will target media buyers and marketers explaining the precision of Yahoo!’s advertising systems. The online campaign is dedicated to Yahoo! as a Life Engine. Developed by WPP’s Soho Square it presents Yahoo! clients wearing t-shirts with specific ad-related messages.

AdWeek reports, saying that Tacoda Systems’ Audience Management System will be used to create Web users profiles and therefore target them with the most appropriate ads.
